HPD INVESTIGATING ATTEMPT TO ENTICE CHILD
HPD is investigating an attempt to entice a child into a vehicle. It occurred February 11, 2016 in the 2300 block of Magna Carta Place. The vehicle was possibly a Nissan Maxima or similar body style car, purple or burgundy in color. The vehicle was occupied by two white males in their late teens to early 20’s.
The two men never got out of the car, but asked the child to get in the car with them. The child refused and when he went to a nearby house for help the vehicle drove off. We encourage all parents to remind their children to never approach or get inside a vehicle with strangers.
