MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 7/23/2018 YOUR INPUT MATTERS! You are invited to a public workshop regarding compatibility planning around Redstone Arsenal. The workshop is part of the ongoing development of the Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) to address compatibility planning between Redstone Arsenal and the surrounding communities. The City of Huntsville, in cooperation with Redstone Arsenal and other communities, agencies, and organizations in the region, is preparing a JLUS to address compatibility planning around Redstone Arsenal with the goal of achieving a balance between sustaining and supporting mission needs of Redstone Arsenal and protecting opportunities for community growth, economic vitality, and quality of life. The JLUS assesses 25 compatibility factors, identifies existing and potential issues, and proposes strategies to address the issues. The compatibility factors include, but are not limited to:
